In the US there is a tradition of exchanging cookies at Christmas time. People meet; everyone brings enough cookies for the others to take some home and the recipe they used to bake the cookies. I'd like us to share our recipes for communicating better when dealing with other cultures. This not only includes people from other countries, but also people who have a different environment for their communication based on their profession, e.g. technical and sales people. We cannot taste cookies that others bake during our session, but we can share great ideas so that everyone goes home with new input and motivation to try out what they have learned. The timing for this session is optimal for people in Asia, but everyone is welcome.
I'm an American who has lived and worked in Germany for over 30 years. I've coached people from more than 50 countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia. I'm fluent in English and German. I look forward to meeting many other coaches and exchanging great ideas.
